John has been in the horse industry his whole life, having grown up in the business at his grandparents farm just outside of Chicago. At the age of 14, he judged his first horse show. By the age of 17, John competed in his first major grand prix. John has represented the US in competitions throughout Europe and in India. In 2006, John re-ceived his "R" judges license in the hunter/jumper/& equitation divisions. And in 2019, he went to Poland to obtain his FEI level 2 jumping judges license.

John has judged and some of the biggest shows in the country, including the Win-ter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL, HITS Ocala, Saugerties, Chicago, Tryon NC, World Equestrian Center, in Ohio & Ocala, The Oaks in San Juan Capistrano CA, Lexington KY, as well as many others. John and his wife Dorothy (Dolly) own and run Legacy River Equestrian Center in Sugar Grove, IL. They do boarding, lessons, shows and clinics at their facility.

Rates as Follows:
Group (2-3 riders) - $95 per rider
