HHSA riders are eligible to be nominated for 1 of 2 affiliate divisions at the USHJA National Championship located in Las Vegas held from November 16-21, 2021.
Riders that wish to be nominated must submit the following form to HHSA and receive confirmation of receipt no later than August 1st, 2021.
Riders that are nominated are responsible for all travel (personal and horse) to Las Vegas from Hawaii, show, and any other costs associated with this National Championship
In order to nominate the most qualified horse and rider pairings to represent HHSA and Zone 11 – qualifications are as follows:
- You must be willing to travel with your horse to compete at the National Championship in Las Vegas as noted above.
- HHSA Year End performance 2019 in either the 2’0 or 2’6” hunter divisions.
- Performance in the HHSA May 2021 horse show in either the 2’0 or 2’6” hunter divisions.
- Must be a junior or amateur rider as defined under USEF rules.
- Cannot combine performance – performance must either be in 2’0 or 2’6” hunter divisions.
- Horse and Rider combinations may not compete in both the 2’ and 2’6” hunter sections of the Championship.
Horses and Riders do not have to be registered or members of USHJA to participate as an affiliate competitor.
Up to 3 horse and rider combinations per section can be nominated by HHSA/Zone 11 that meet the qualifications above in order of preference with 1 horse and rider combination per affiliate per section guaranteed acceptance.
The competition will be judged on performance, soundness, and way of going.
